Finding Peace Amid Chaos and Trials

It is a realistic expectation to live with more peace, joy, and happiness than you have now; and I am proof that this is true!

Understand that you were created to be happy and to enjoy all the blessings afforded you. More importantly, the creator expects you to be happy and to have peace and joy living in your heart, mind, and soul, and in your life.

Nourish the Spirit

We have an entity living inside us that we call a spirit, which must be nurtured and kept healthy in order to be at peace. A chaotic lifestyle puts the focus on too many of the wrong things and causes us to be out-of-balance and out-of-alignment with Universal Laws. This could be the result of living in today’s confused world or because of things we've done wrong. Also, the problem could be from being undisciplined in keeping our commitments. Whatever the case, the consequence is a tender spirit that grows numb to God and to many of the things that bring peace and happiness to the soul. Poor choices in lifestyle also prevent us from achieving what we want most in life: such as peace and contentment.

People say they want to feel a deep and abiding love for someone, and for someone to love them back that way. They want to feel safe and secure, to be respected, and have self-worth. They want to be appreciated, to feel gratitude, and to be truly happy. They say living a fulfilling life is having joy in the soul. Sometimes, however, instead of getting what they want, people end up living a life of emptiness and boredom; barren of creativity, energy, vibrancy, and enthusiasm to succeed. They need all of these things for adapting to situations and handling challenges. Such a life is not living, it's just existing and void of meaning and purpose. Indeed, it is burdened with bad associations, wrong choices, and inappropriate behavior that demand harsh consequences. Life is not a wonderful experience for these people, so they take what they can get because they think that's all there is.

Is merely existing what you want for yourself and your family? I hope not, because that is not what I want for you. I want so much more than that for you!

Changing How We Live Our Lives

  • We must commit to living in accordance to Universal Laws that rewards us with the peace, joy, and happiness that we seek.
  • We need to fill our "Life's Treasure Boxes" with gems that nourish the spirit and make a healthy soul.
  • These treasures provide what we need to make it through trials and misfortunes of life.
  • If our Treasure boxes are empty, life will not feel satisfying to us.
  • Even with a lot of money, we will feel as if something is missing but we won't know why we feel that way.

One thing I've learned is that focusing on buying things is a direct result of an empty Treasure Box. Continuing to leave Treasure Boxes empty by NOT nourishing the spirit before trials will leave us unprepared when troubling times come upon us.

With few gems in Life's Treasure Box to nourish our spirits, we will always be wanting more and more of what money can buy because we think money will fix the problem. On the other hand, caring for the sick, the wounded, the windows, and those in need of what we can give, is satisfying and leaves a warmth within our souls.

This message needs to resonates within you enough to change your thinking and the way you do things in the future. Otherwise, nothing you do will ever be as satisfying as you want until you figure it out and make the changes you need to make.
